First week at Ravensborne
It is inspiring being in a brand new building we are the first group to be taught in this new building at Greenwich. The building is nine floors with 2 big atriums all the windows are round with great views if the River Thames, Canary wharf and the Thames barrier.
On the broadcast side the facilities are new and use the latest technologies, there is a tv gallery, tv studio, sound recording studio and transmission and QC suite, edit suites and colour grading suite.
The prototype rooms have lots of interesting equipment, which I look forward to using personal projects.
There is a small amount if teething problems but that is to be expected in a new building I hope we get our ID cards next week.
My lectures are on Tuesday and Thursday, the first semester (15 weeks) we are covering 3D and research process.
